金曜日に行われたポール・マッカートニーの「Out There」ツアーで、元ニルヴァーナとの共演が実現した。

登場したのはデイヴ・グロール、クリス・ノヴォゼリック、パット・スメアの3人。3人はなんと7曲もいっしょに演奏を行った。演奏したのは、「Cut Me Some Slack」「Get Back」リトル・リチャードのカバーで「Long Tall Sally」「Helter Skelter」「Golden Slumbers」「Carry That Weight」「The End」。「アビイ・ロード・メドレー」まで演ったわけだ。
