10月2日から4日の3日間、その翌週の9日から11日の3日間、トータル2週末6日間にわたって開催される今年のAustin City Limitsの出演者が発表されてしまった（？）。

当初この火曜日に予定されていた出演者発表だが、日曜日、公式サイトに数時間ほどアップされるという事態に。そのページは現在削除されているが、見つけたユーザーがそのスクリーンショットをネット上に掲出している。ちなみに主催者はこのページに掲載された出演者が正確なものかどうかについては追認していないのだとか。

現在ネット上に流布されている出演者は、第1週がFoo Fighters, The Strokes, Drake, The Weeknd, Disclosure, Tame Impala, Alabama Shakes, Alt-J, The Decemberists, Chance the Rapper, ASAP Rocky, Billy Idol, Run the Jewels, TV on the Radio, Brandon Flowers, Brand New, Father John Misty, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Gary Clark Jr., Royal Blood, Jose Gonzalez, Daughter, deadmau5, Bassnectar, Hozier, Of Monsters and Menなど。
