U2の2枚目のベスト・アルバム、『ザ・ベスト・オブ・1990-2000』(2002)のリマスター＆180g重量盤2枚組LPが9月28日にリリースされることが決定した。

タイトルには2000年までとあるが、2002年にリリースした“Electrical Storm”とレオナルド・ディカプリオが主演した映画『ギャング・オブ・ニューヨーク』の主題歌“The Hands that Built America”の2曲が追加収録されている。
