イギリスのガーディアン紙がまとめた最新の音楽業界重要人物リストである、ガーディアン・ミュージック・パワー100でアデルは現在、最大の影響力を誇る人物に選ばれた。

リストは業界に精通した人物らで作成しているもので、今年に入ってイギリスで売れたレコードの総数のうち、10枚に1枚は自身の作品だというアデルが1位に輝いた。

ほかでは人気オーディション番組『Xファクター』のプロデューサーのサイモン・カーウェルが3位、ブラック・アイド・ピーズのウィル・アイ・アムが11位、レディオヘッドが14位、レディー・ガガが18位につけている。50位内に入ったミュージシャンでは、デーモン・アルバーンが24位、ディジー・ラスカルが28位、ジェイ・Zが38位、ブルーノ・マースが49位につけている。
