7月19日にシアトルで行われたポール・マッカートニーの「アウト・ゼアー」ツアーにデイヴ・グロール、クリス・ノヴォゼリック、パット・スメアが飛び入りし、3人はこの日ポールと共に7曲を演奏した。

デイヴ達が参加したのはアンコールからで、“カット・ミー・サム・スラック”、“ロング・トール・サリー”、“ゲット・バック”、“ヘルター・スケルター”、“ゴールデン・スランバー”、“キャリー・ザット・ウェイト”、そしてショウのラスト・ナンバーだった“ジ・エンド”を演奏した。

ポールとデイヴ達は昨年12月のハリケーン・サンディのチャリティ・ライヴ、そしてTVライヴ番組「サタデー・ナイト・ライヴ」でも共演済だが、複数曲を共にプレイしたのは今回が初となる。

また、彼らがビートルズのナンバーを共演したのも初めてのことだった。
