9月27日にアメリカで公開されるメタリカの3D映画『Metallica: Through The Never』のメイキング映像の第3弾が公開された。

「Hit the Lights: The Making of Metallica Through the Never Chapter 3」と題された本作は、以前公開された「Chapter 1」「Chapter 2」の続編で、主にショウで使用された「テスラコイル」と「エレクトリック・チェアー」についてのドキュメンタリーとなっている。

映画『Metallica: Through The Never』は、『プレデターズ』や『アーマード武装地帯』で知られるニムロッド・アーントルが監督を務めており、メタリカのカナダでのライヴ映像を題材としながら、デイン・デハーン演じるバンドのローディが世界の終末かと思われる出来事に巻き込まれていくというものになっている。

また、『Metallica: Through The Never』のサウンドトラック、『Metallica - Through The Never (Music from the Motion Picture)』も9月25日（水）にリリースされることが決まっている。

このサウンドトラックは本映画の撮影のために行われたカナダ・バンクーバーのロジャース・アリーナ公演の音源が収録されている。

サウンドトラックのフォーマットは2枚組CDで、アナログ盤も別途リリースされる。
