ずっと企画が噂されていたザ・ナショナルのプロデュースによるグレイトフル・デッドのトリビュート・アルバムが完成。

そのメンツとトラックリストが発表された。参加したのは、ウィルコ、ジャスティン・ヴァーノン（ボン・イヴェール）、コートニー・バーネット、アノーニ、カート・ヴァイル、グリズリー・ベアなどなど。『Days of the Dead』と名付けられたこのアルバムは、なんと全59曲で、6時間！　5月20日に発売となる。これは、Red Hotという長く続くAIDS/HIVのチャリティ企画だ。

We are proud to announce the release of @dayofthedead,an epic tribute to @gratefuldead.
