昨日3月17日にザ・ローリング・ストーンズのオフィシャル・サイトに「A message to Japan」と題した日本へのメッセージが掲載された。

"The Rolling Stones send their heartfelt sympathies to their friends and fans in Japan who are going through such tragic and very difficult times. It's heartbreaking to see the loss of life and devastation, but we know their strong resolve and togetherness will pull them through.''

悲惨で大変な時、私達、ローリングストーンズは日本の沢山の友達、ファンに心から同情しています。命を落とす事や破壊されているとこを見るのは心が痛みます。しかし、日本人の強い意志と団結力がこの悲惨な状況に打ち勝つことになるようお祈りしています。

なお、ロニー・ウッドとミック・ハックネルは、昨日発表されたように『フジ・ロック・フェスティバル'11』にザ・フェイセズとして出演することが決定している。
